You will find plenty to do at the TWIN ELM! The Twin Elm Ranch is just right for families, reunions, youth groups, business meetings, western-style vacations, weddings, and private parties.

At the Twin Elm Ranch, we are an all inclusive Dude Ranch featuring horseback riding, 3 meals per day and lots of other amenities. However, there’s lots of people out there that prefer to camp and enjoy nature in a much less structured sort of way. That’s why we offer to those guest primitive camping along the Medina River that runs right through our ranch. The crystal clear water flowing over sun-bleached rocks makes for a very peaceful retreat from the fast paced world we’ve come to know. By yourself or with a bunch of rowdy kids, you’ll have a great time here at Twin Elm Ranch. You can go Tubing, along with canoeing and kayaking available nearby. Sometimes just sticking your feet in the water is a wonderful way to relax and take advantage of the splendor Mother Nature has put before us. Come see for yourself and get that harmonious outcome we all desire. For more information call 830-796-3628.

There are rodeos every Friday night starting in April, ending the Friday before Labor Day (weather permitting) at no charge to Twin Elm guests.

Everyone who wants to ride - gets to ride! Our experienced cowboys will saddle you up with a horse that is just right for you. Even youngsters not old enough to hit the trails get to ride.

If you find a few minutes between activities, take a dip in our pool.

Above all we want you to relax - watch the animals or just take a nap in a hammock.

In the evening, we'll gather 'round the campfire. There will be plenty of marshmallows for everyone to roast.

Don't miss our Rodeo. Every Rodeo begins with a Star Spangled Grand Entry - then the action begins! See bull riding, steer riding, barrel racing and roping at its best.

We offer lodging, meals, horseback riding, and swimming in our pool near the rooms or you can ride the rapids of the crystal clear, spring fed, Medina River which runs through the ranch. There are campfires and hayrides for added fun. You can enjoy nature's lovely breezes atop our hill but bring along a sweater for cool evenings and pool towels for the river. We have a recreation area for games and TV for movies, but no telephones or TV in the rooms. The ranch telephone is answered between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for incoming calls. After that time all of the calls will be received by the voicemail.

Hiking on the Ranch

Here at Twin Elm Guest Ranch we have an abundance of nature to enjoy. A wide variety of trees, rocks, fossils, wildlife and a multitude of trails that lead to all of this. Maybe a hike down along Indian Creek and in Indian Creek to witness Cypress stumps left there by Polish settlers back in the 1840's. Fossils and odd rock formations allow your mind to wonder, even ponder the possibilities of what once was or even could have been. There's a free standing rock fence void of motor that could only have been put in place by counless hours of grueling labor in the hot sun.Sooo much to see, sooo much to appreciate, come meander thru the ranch and experience a taste of all that the Hill Country in Bandera has to offer. Ya'll come see us soon to find out for yourself. And don't forget... DON'T STEP IN NOTHIN'!
